Shipping policy

Here is the Shipping Policy and Legal Notice tailored for Global Publishing Center. Since your business provides both digital services and physical products (like printed book proofs or author copies), the shipping policy clearly separates the two delivery methods.

At Global Publishing Center, we primarily provide professional publishing, editing, and marketing services. Because our offerings include both digital service delivery and the shipment of physical goods (such as author copies and printed proofs), our delivery processes are divided into two categories.

1. Digital Delivery (Service Packages)

All editing files, formatted manuscripts, cover designs, marketing assets, and audiobook files are delivered digitally.

  • Delivery Method: Digital files will be delivered via email or a secure download link provided to the email address associated with your account.

  • Delivery Timelines: The delivery timeline for digital services depends on the specific package you purchased (e.g., 3–5 business days for Starter Packages, up to 30 days for Signature Packages). These timelines begin only after we have received all necessary files and information from you.

  • Platform Publishing: When we upload your book to platforms like Amazon KDP or IngramSpark, the respective platform may take an additional 24 to 72 hours to review and push your book live. This timeline is controlled by the third-party platforms.

2. Physical Shipping (Book Proofs & Author Copies)

If your service package includes physical printed copies of your book, or if you order author copies through us, the following physical shipping policies apply:

  • Order Processing Time: Physical printing only begins after you have explicitly approved the final digital formatting and cover design. Once approved, printing typically takes 3 to 7 business days before the item is shipped.

  • Shipping Rates and Estimates: Shipping charges for your physical books will be calculated and displayed at checkout, or invoiced to you separately depending on your location and the volume of books ordered. Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to carrier issues or high seasonal demand.

  • International Shipping: We offer global shipping for physical author copies. However, your order may be subject to import duties, customs taxes, and VAT once a shipment reaches your destination country. Global Publishing Center is not responsible for these charges; they are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Lost or Damaged Packages: Once a physical package is handed over to the shipping carrier, the risk of loss passes to you. If your physical books arrive damaged or defective from the printer, please contact us immediately at info@globalpublishingcenter.com with photographic proof so we can arrange a replacement copy.
